Mary Storer papers, 1725-1764.

Taken captive by Indians in 1703 attack on Wells, Maine, Mary Storer was released in Canada, married Jean St. Germaine, ca. 1708 and remained in Montreal. Collection includes ten letters from Mary Storer to her brother, Ebenezer Storer in Boston, 1725-1739, and one letter to her mother, Hannah Storer, 1733. Also includes three letters from Ebenzer Storer to his wife, Mary Edwards Storer, 1742-1754, a letter to Mary Storer, 1733, and a letter to Jean St. Gemaine, (1750?). There are five letters from Jean St. Germaine to Ebenezer Storer, 1748-1754, and a letter from Anna Green to her daughter Elizabeth (Green) Storer, 1764.
